Not all dogs are alike – some are born to lead while some gladly follows the orders of the head of the pack. Consequently, not all dogs respond to training in the same manner – some gladly do their homework and exercises without giving you, the owner, a difficult time, while others will test your temperament to its limits.

Difficult to train dogs are not loved less compared to their more subservient. Instead, these dogs usually have several positive traits that interfere with their dog training sessions. Two of the qualities that stand in the way of training most dogs are animal independence and domination. Let’s see how these qualities might jeopardize your dog training efforts.

Independence

Independence is by far the most common feature shown by hard-to-train dogs. An independent dog can be seen as a renegade who never needs to please anybody. While independent dogs certainly love their owners, their drive for them is not as strong as those of other more docile dogs. This feature is often the owner or manager of a most difficult time during their dog training sessions.

How can you say that your dog is independent? Here are some telltale signs:. Independent dogs may have a marked indifference to other people or animals. . You might not like to be petted and disdainfully resents grooming. . They prefer to be alone. . They turn away when reprimanded.

However, independent dogs are not entirely impossible to train. You just need to know what works for them and what is not for you to get the most from your dog training efforts. A word of caution – which is a big mistake to apply force in correcting the habits of his hard-dog-train. Physical corrections such as hitting and extract only lead to passive resistance on the part of your dog and make your dog training sessions impossible. Once your dog is in this position would be very difficult to get him or her to obey his orders.

So what is the best thing to do in the formation of independent dog? Using the “power” cookie “! In other words, know what prizes get a positive response and take advantage of it. With an adequate reward, your dog certainly will let you do it your way!

Prevalence

A dominant dog is shown explicitly that he or she can not be bossed around. While an independent dog simply ignore their orders, a dominant dog will show his discontent about ordering.

Dominant dogs are natural leaders. With these dogs, you need to prove himself before he or she recognizes your authority, or its role goes down the package hierarchy. Some signs of dominance may include the following:. Displays the defensive behavior when guarding territory, food or toys. Shows ready to throw a fight. Growls or snaps when not allowed to do whatever they want

Dominant dogs are trainable. Despite their fearsome and irritable nature, you can obey his orders during the dog training sessions and beyond. All you need do is establish your role as it occupies the alpha position. You need to establish their authority through reasonable actions and everything else will follow. Once the theme of leadership is clearly established, the dog training sessions will continue without problems, no problems!

Urination, submissive and is very common among puppies. This is a spontaneous voiding that occurs when the puppy is excited, either positively or negatively. It can happen when you get home from work, when someone comes to visit, when meeting another dog for the first time, or when fear of feeling. This type of accident should not be regarded as a deviation of training. Even a perfectly trained dog can experience bathing submissive urination. It is not something the dog can help, but most dogs grow out of it sometime between the ages of four and seven months. The best way to handle this situation is not at all and just react immediately and thoroughly clean the mess.

The dogs pissing off the general presentation, it will either first be received by a person or a dog, or when they are being punished. Among adult dogs, bladder disorders aside, submissive urination is more frequent in dogs that have been abused – which is very common in rescued dogs – and dogs are more or less punished or treated . Dogs who are too shy or anxiety may also experience submissive urination.

Puppies usually outgrow submissive urination. However, if you feel your dog is too anxious and that this habit may continue, or if your adult dog continues to experience this reaction, can help your dog to build confidence. This can be done through simple obedience training, taught gently using only positive reinforcement methods. Even the most basic commands like sit, come, and down can help your dog to feel more comfortable with yourself and your home. If you find that your dog responds well to training, you can add other commands such as stay, fetch and roll over.

When training your dog, you help to establish a relationship and communication with him or her. It also helps your dog to understand what he or she wants, and to make sure he or she is behaving correctly. Training a dog gives you a sense of control over their own lives by understanding the expectations of him or her, and how to meet those expectations.

If your dog is anxious and needs to build confidence, also must be aware of their position. Try to remember to approach your dog gently. Do not rush your dog, but instead calmly move slowly and predictably. Avoid eye contact with your dog as he or she will feel like you’re trying to look for him or her – to behave in a dominant way, what your dog to be submissive. When your dog for company, instead of reaching the top of the head at first, scratch under the chin.

Each time your dog has done something correctly, be sure to praise him or her with enthusiasm. Praise may contain words happy in a pleasant tone (not too high spoken), a scratch happy, or even a present. You can praise anything even after an order, or even something as basic as removing the right place (outside). In doing so, your dog will feel much safer in their actions and feel much more content around you.

There are many different approaches to dog training and how each of these approaches to apply. The techniques used today are ahead on the idea that positive reinforcement is likely to create the best results. Virtually every functioning dog training system is the result of thinking positive in reinforcement.

What specific programs may choose to take ownership of a dog, there are common dangers can be avoided. Heaving a dog makes you particularly susceptible of making some errors that you could avoid if the training is much more enjoyable and effective. Some of the most commonly mistakes are impatience or maybe treating the dog as an object instead of a training partner and inconsistency.

Common training dogs mistakes: inconsistency

Consistency can be a sprite little mind about the need for human creativity. In the training of dogs, but there are inconsistencies, the best way to experience the effectiveness of the reduction.

Dogs live in predictability. In fact, its ability to cause and effect included in the next training. Operant conditioning is based on the fact that the dogs start based on events associated with consistent results. The idea of the importance of consistency should be extended to the whole process of dog training.

A dog may respond better to a regular system in which the results of the ordinary shares. Too often dog owners do not fully agree. In the spirit of the dog, these gaps in the regularity bring a sense of arbitrariness in the process is difficult for the company, the specific behaviors that employees with tangible results, the key to education. Dogs Excel, when they learned that things happen for certain reasons. When surprises occur, danger to the whole process of education.

A coach will continue to maintain consistency and stability not deviate from a course.

Common training dogs mistakes: impatience

It is a big frustration in dog training. Concepts we believe dogs can comprehend easily often escape for a long time.

We live in a world that so often focused on immediate results. Rather than expect that our actions will be met by the quick response. Dog Training is in contradiction with this trend in society for quick gratification, instant. Training is a long process that can require great patience of the coach.

The impatience of the unpredictability of results by the owners, rather than a training or receive positive reinforcement techniques in hopes of a shortcut to the desired results. Patience is a virtue, even though the role of the owner in a dog training situation.

A successful teacher trainer development of the vision of a patient during the long process of dog training.

Common training dogs mistakes: treating the dog as a problem, but a partner

Dog training requires two participants: the dog and owner. Often, exercise, but the process owned by them alone. You’re angry about their techniques, equipment and strategies without school with the royal couple, the dog.

If the owner approaches the dog as a mere object of experimentation, you lose track of what the dog unique and denigrate the growing importance dog owner relationship. Training is a job, but as a joint activity. If a good opportunity for interaction may be a pleasant task.

Dogs are entirely consistent with the intuitive attitude of a teacher and are less receptive to learning when they are only permitted as an object and not as a whole being. Owners who are not on the identity of the animals during training, not to gather suggestions and ways to improve their techniques.

The successful trainer to treat his dog as a full partner in training, not only as a topic.

By avoiding these three common mistakes, the owner of the dog is in a better position, an education strategy to achieve results. Moreover, the training experience is probably fun for the dog and its owner, making them the opportunity to strengthen their relationship. Regardless of the exact method should be approved by the owner, the training largely to the mistakes of inconsistency, impatience and to avoid treating your pet as an item that does not benefit as a partner.
